Liquid Sunday is the brainchild of singer/bassist Juan Croucier. Yes, the same Juan Croucier who made his professional debut as bass player for the rock band
Dokken. And the same Juan Croucier who helped propel RATT to over
10 million in worldwide album sales. The bassist/singer not only did backing vocals on RATT’s songs, he also wrote or co-wrote most of the band’s catalogue.
When RATT broke up in the early 90’s, Juan continued to produce bands out of
his studio The Cellar. After many years of making records for other bands
he decided to start a new band. Liquid Sunday was born, a
project with his brother Rick on drums. Sample the songs in real audio on
this web site. It's been said by many people that the partially reformed
RATT has lost the song craftsmanship it once had, well upon listening to Liquid
Sunday, your bound to hear where much of that went.
Since it's inception in 1997 Liquid Sunday has gone through many line up changes. At this time, Juan is taking time away from live performances to
pursue his studio endeavors. Next for Juan, is a new record he is now working on featuring the songs he wrote and recorded during his time in Ratt. The record is going
to be called Juan Croucier's Demos From The Ratt Years Volume 1. After completing that project, Juan will commence working on a new Liquid Sunday record. He will be
auditioning musicians for the new band after the second record for Liquid Sunday is completed.
